Keeping pace with the development of management education in India and to cater to the needs of the society, Prakashdeep Institute of Management and Technology was set up in 2008.
The institute has come up as the nucleus of management education. Active support of top Professionals and Academicians of national stature from industries and universities respectively have enabled this institute to offer competitive and quality management education to students.
The institute is having four acre campus in a sprawling pollution free area with lush green landscape lawns surrounded by exotic trees and flowering plants with state-of-art infrastructure to cater the needs of students in harmonious & developmental manner. The campus has been aesthetically planned and designed by an eminent architect. The campus is airy with wi-fi connectivit, well illuminated and cheerful with academic blocks housing the air-conditioned Lecture rooms, Laboratories, conference halls, etc.
Eligibility Criteria:The candidate should have passed Should have minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto or Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Computing facilities at PIMT adopt smart and modern installation to ensure that there is always a strong and healthy exposure to modern and latest technologies.
The impressive and conducive network of computing facilities is comprised of networked PCs linking with the wide range of software, communications and print services.
A state of the art fully air-conditioned Computer Lab having having 30 number of Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.8 GHz or higher 1GB DDR RAM, 160GB Hard-disk machines with Colour Monitors and LAN terminals and licensed software like Windows XP, MS-office, Adobe Reader, Nero etc is avaliable. There is an open access to the Internet and is part of an extensive 'broadband' information network. The computing and Internet facilities like E-mail, etc. shall be available to the students round the clock. Adequate numbers of printers will also be available . The campus is airy with wi-fi connectivity having a speed of 512 kbps.
PIMT provide 30 seats in Boys Hostel & 10 seats in Girls Hostel separately.The rooms are spacious, ventilated, well furnished and air cooled to provide environment for comfortable stay and learning. The hostel give the resident students a feeling of comfort & ambience of home. The college has adequate security, telephones and ambulance car also available for secured stay. The Hostels provide excellent mess facilities on no-profit basis. The Hostel has indoor game facilities also.
The college has spacious well stocked multimedia a literature modern library consisting 1107 books, 47 journals and 100 case studies, magazine, CD and Videos facilities for the intellectual nourishment of students. The College library consists many recommended texts and books subscribes to major magazines and journals of relevance to students in the different disciplines. Faculty members are encouraged and urged to keep referring updated books, magazines and other knowledge contained items for our students and the library has a photocopy section which provides photocopy service for students & faculty.
Institute provides medical care to the students through a qualified medical practitioner.
The Institute has excellent playground and fitness place to make the youths stress free and fit. The sport activities and game competitions will be organized time to time during college festivals.
Transport- A fleet of buses provides transport to the students from the hostel and different parts of the city to the Institute.
Canteen- For the convenience of the students, the institute aiso provides a spacious canteen for snacks and meals.
Auditorium & Gymnasium- The institute has air conditioned Auditorium, Gymnasium, Tutorials, Conference room, committe room and Seminar Hall equipped with latest of the art audio video facilities with total seating capacity of more than 200.
Photocopying Facilities- For the convenience of the students, photocopies facility is avaliable to the students.
Classrooms- The quality of teaching depends upon the mode and environment of teaching. Air conditioned & spacious lecture theaters with OHP's are thoughtfully designed to induce high quality learning and are equipped with high end teaching aids.
To ensure that our students secure best placements, a highly coordinated and intensive effort is being done by our placement cell consisting of very dedicated and qualified staff.
