Kailash Institute of Pharmacy and Management have been established under the aegis of Ashutosh Shiksha Evam Sewa Sansthan in the benevolent guidance and leadership of Mr. R. D. Singh (President of the Society), to provide quality education to the students of management.
The Promoters are driven by an objective that our students need to be highly accomplished, enterprising and committed citizens so that they deliver the best values. In order to achieve such an objective, we follow well-designed and professionally formulated way of doing things supported by proficient and experienced teachers, a set of adequate infrastructure, and good ambience.
The Institute is located in an excellent high greens surroundings at GIDA, Gorakhpur-- the land of promise and plenty; just 12 kms away from the main city on NH.28- Gorakhpur-Lucknow Highway. The Institute has a sprawling campus spanning over 5.84 acres of land .It has two academic blocks of over 1,15,000 sq.ft. covered area, and is equipped with state-of-art facilities.
Eligibility Criteria:Candidates who have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with physics & chemistry as compulsory subjects and one optional from the following subjects mathematics/ bio-tech/ computer science/ biology securing minimum 50%marks in aggregate, are eligible for admission to B. pharma programme. D.Pharm (Diploma of Pharmacy) holders are eligible for admission into B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) into the second year directly via Lateral entry.
Eligibility Criteria:You should have passed B.Pharm from an AICTE approved Institutions or Institutions of National Importance with minimum 60% marks in case of General/OBC candidate and 55% in case of SC/ST candidate.Admission will be done through GPAT entrance exam .For Non GPAT candidate’s admission will be according to the rules and norms of the university.

The laboratories are equipped with all the latest as well as conventional equipments like mechanical stirrers, homogenizer, digital balance, microscopes, stage and eye piece micrometers, Brookfield’s viscometer , tray dryer, ball mill, sieve shaker with sieve set, double cone blender, propeller type mechanical agitator, autoclave, steam distillation still, standard sieves set, zone reader, digital pH meter, sterility testing unit, heating mantle, flourimeter, vacuum pump, micropipettes (single and multi channeled), micro centrifuge, projection microscope, tablet punching machine, tablet coating pan, ampoule filling machine, friability test apparatus, capsule filling machine bulk density apparatus, conical percolator & humidity control oven.
The Institute believes in the use of information technology in all the spheres of its activities in line with current trends. To facilitate this, the computer labs are equipped with the latest Pentium PCs, and software & a state-of-art Local Area Network (LAN), providing multi-user environment on Windows platform to meet both present and future needs. The Institute provides the computer lab facilities with 1:1 computer-student ratio.The campus is Wi-Fi enabled to help students access the Internet on a 24x7 basis.The students are connected to the internet through a high-speed broadband connection that allows for seamless and uninterrupted connectivity to the World Wide Web. Internet and Intranet enable on-line interactions between faculty and students.

The fundamental pedagogical tool even today remain in books. The epicenter of in-depth research & reference, the institute libraries are well-stocked, computerised & serve as primary resource centers.
The collection of over 6,000 volumes of books, references, textbooks, periodicals and journals-both national & international pertaining to pharmacy & allied subjects is constantly enriched with references beyond those prescribed in the syllabus.
The library subscribes to various national & international journals in the print format besides providing access to electronic database through DELNET. It is also being developed into a digital library with network facility i.e. an integrated Knowledge Resource Center.
All students are covered by a comprehensive Medical Insurance to meet any exigency. KIPM provides free medical aid to the students in the campus round the clock, and has tie-ups with hospitals to take care of emergencies.
The industry today seeks action oriented leaders who are healthy enough to work for long hours with ease. KIPM has designed sports as well as recreational activities to ensure that students become healthy and active. Our students enjoy sports such as Chess, Volley ball, Pool, Carom, Badminton, TT, Chess, Gym, Chinese chequer.
Transport- The college provides transport facilities for staff and students by means of six buses owned by the college and plying between the city and the college.
